• Receipt Images & Data: When you scan a receipt, the image is sent temporarily to our server for AI-powered text extraction. The extracted data (store name, date, items, totals) is returned to the app and stored locally on your device. We do not retain your receipt images or extracted data on our servers.
• Device Information: We may collect basic platform information to ensure app compatibility and diagnose issues.
• Purchase Information: If you subscribe to ReceiptAlly Pro, payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To process receipt images temporarily for AI-powered text extraction.
• To provide spending insights and analytics, computed locally on your device.
• To manage your subscription status.
• To improve app performance and fix bugs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Receipt images are processed using third-party AI services (such as OpenAI) solely for text extraction. We do not share your data with advertisers or other third parties.

Data Storage & Security

All of your receipt data, spending history, and profile information is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your personal data on our servers. Receipt images are only sent to our server temporarily during scanning and are not saved afterward.

Data Retention

Since your data is stored on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete individual receipts or all app data at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it.
